An outdoor ceremony is a very popular choice
in New England. Incorporating the natural world, as part of your ceremony, makes
it all the more unique. Please see the
Indoor Weddings page of my website, which
stresses the need for an indoor back-up plan in case of inclement weather.
Outdoor ceremonies are a standard option for most area indoor venues. Many area
venues are well known for a view of Mt. Monadnock, which affords a stunning
background for photographs and filming. Other venues provide beautiful gardens
and arbors, which also afford a lovely, natural backdrop for pictures. I have
reprised the list of venues from my indoor list, including links to their
respective websites or contact information, and added a few other venues that
are generally not used during the winter months. This is in no way meant to
serve as a comprehensive list of area venues.
