An indoor ceremony is either a planned event,
or a back-up plan chosen in the event of inclement weather on the day of an
outdoor ceremony. Since it is always wise to have a back-up plan, all
professional, four-season wedding venues will offer this option. Alternatively,
a cozy wedding at home is possibly the most intimate setting available.
When your ceremony date falls in the colder months, you and your guests will be
much more comfortable indoors. I have done a couple of December-January outdoor
weddings, but they were attended only by the wedding couple and a few hardy
friends. There are many excellent indoor facilities, most of which offer outdoor
venues as well. In alphabetical order, I have compiled a list of the ones I am
most familiar with, including links to their respective websites or contact
information. This is in no way meant to serve as a comprehensive list of area
venues.
