 My name is Bonnie McCarthy
and I specialize in writing and performing ceremonies in other than church
settings. I am an ordained, nondenominational,
interfaith minister who would be honored to create, or help you create, your
perfect ceremony. Whether you choose to have your ceremony in a home or
elsewhere, indoors or outdoors, formal or informal, my goal is to insure that
the atmosphere is stress free and intimate.

Welcoming All Marriages:
Your wedding is an
expression of who you are as a couple and deserves to be exactly what you want
it to be. Since 2001,
I have been writing and
officiating specialty weddings including spiritual, religious, civil, Celtic,
handfastings, and other unique celebrations.
Soon
after you contact me, we will arrange a personal meeting to become acquainted
and start to create your ceremony. We will stay in touch until your ceremony is
finished to your total satisfaction. I also offer standard versions, which we
can easily personalize. I organize rehearsals and joyfully officiate at
ceremonies. After the wedding, I will give you the booklet from which I prepared
and performed your ceremony.
Baptisms:
A baptism is often more
than a spiritual dedication of a child or an adult. It is a family ritual in
which the parents, godparents, and extended family pledge their mutual support
to one another. I offer a traditional Christian baptismal dedication as well as
a Celtic Christian baptismal dedication. I provide a Certificate of Baptism and
a copy of the ceremony in booklet format.
Life
Celebrations:
A life celebration can be
any gathering, large or small, to honor the living or the deceased. It may be
the renewal of vows, the marking of a special anniversary, the remembrance of a
departed loved one, or any other special gathering of family and friends. A life
celebration is anything and everything. I create a booklet of the ceremony as my
gift to you.
Fee:
My fee is based on the services I am asked to perform and the distance I
must travel.
